What is Spiritual Healing?
Spiritual Healing is a Divine therapy that has powerful restorative properties in illness and/or disease. "Absent Healing" is "distant" healing, and does not require the physical presence of the Healer to initiate restorative changes as the healing progresses.

Spiritual healing is NOT "Faith" healing, as young children and animals can all respond readily to this therapy, as well as those for whom help has been requested by another, in a proxy manner. Although having some form of confidence in the power of healing is always helpful, it is certainly not a pre-requisite for a healing result.

There is no known illness/disease that in the past has not failed in some way to respond to the special power of Healing Light. In this way, the Healer always anticipates positive changes as the healing progresses, always looking ahead, knowing that whatever can be done, will be done, if at all possible.

Spiritual Healing will not (and does not) interfere in any way with other treatments or medication already being used or taken. (It is suggested that as improvements and positive changes take place throughout the progress of the healing, that the patient discusses with their doctor/therapist any alterations etc. to their prescribed treatment.)

How does it work?

It is by way of the special "attunement" between the Healer and the Healing Light that initiates healing
responses, leading towards restoration and harmony. Although Spiritual healing is not a cure-all, in many cases where a cure seems no longer possible, help is forthcoming. In chronic disease, and serious illness, when all else has failed to produce a result, the special "power" of Spiritual Healing has often produced positive changes towards complete restoration.
If this "power" (or healing Light) is not of this world, then it can only come from a "higher" or more refined.non-physical realm of energy. For this energy to work, it must be intelligently applied or directed towards the underlying cause of any condition.
These "Healing Intelligences" have been called many names. Some call them "Angels of Light" or "Healing Guides" or "Spirit Doctors" etc. It is believed that these Spiritual Beings administer the Healing Light, using the attuned Healer as a vehicle or "transmitter" of the Healing Energies.

In Absent Healing, the attuned mind of the Healer is the "carrier wave" that enables this Healing Light to reach the patient. As the Healing Light begins to work around the patient, any underlying anxieties and inner tensions are soothed away, thus creating a basis for further healing to take place. (In many cases, this will be noticed as a feeling of inner upliftment or happiness, and is often the first sign of directed Healing Light beginning to reach the patient.)
Changes in outlook, with a more confident or positive approach towards "getting better" can all be signs of the Absent Healing beginning to work..

How long does it take?

In most cases, a period of time is usually needed to induce all the positive changes that Spiritual Healing can bring. At other times, a very quick result can ensue. There are many factors that can influence a healing result. There are definite "Pathways of Priority" in Spiritual Healing. In the early days, a sense of inner calm, coupled with a more positive outlook in general, is often the first sign of directed healing beginning to reach the patient.
Any cause must first be overcome, and this may be one of the reasons why Spiritual Healing is a powerful restorative therapy when all else has failed. It would seem much Healing Light is directed towards any underlying causative factors, both on a Spiritual and physical level at the commencement of Spiritual Healing. In chronic disease, the capacity of the physical body to respond to healing stimuli may be severely weakened or diminished. Therefore time is needed to strengthen and revitalise the bloodstream, glands, and inner organs etc.

It is felt that an "inner healing intelligence" within the body in serious illness can become dormant. In such cases, the directed Healing Light will endeavour to stimulate this inner force of healing within the body as much as possible. and this may take some time.

Regardless of all such points of interest, experience has also shown that at certain times a rapid response is possible, and so the Healer always looks ahead, anticipating changes of a positive nature.

Please note that Mr.Osborne does NOT use any objects, fetishes,or other items like crystals etc. to carry out his Healing Ministry.

Important Legal Points:

1. Spiritual Healing and the Medical Profession are complimentry to each other, and there is no need for any patient to make changes to, or cease any medication without their doctors approval. All the benefits that Spiritual Healing can bring are still possible, regardless of any other treatments being undertaken. If a person feels there has been a substantial improvement in their condition due to Spiritual Healing help, then they should discuss any proposed medication changes with their doctor. (Please note it can be dangerous to suddenly withdraw some medications without a doctors supervision and/or medical support.)

2. In cases of presumed Cancer, or any other serious
illness, proper diagnosis rests with the Medical Profession. Please do not attempt to coerce or endeavour to obtain a diagnosis from the Healer, as he will not do so.

3. There are several other Legal Guidelines for "Bona-fide" healers to follow, although most of these relate to personal or "hands-on" contact healing with a patient. For obvious reasons, many do not apply to "Absent" healing, where the patient has no physical contact with the healer.

4. Letters have been shown to be a potent tool in the
adminstration of Absent Healing practise. It would seem that "thought transmission" (as a patient writes to the healer for help) combined with the "special attunement" of the healer when he reads it, is a key factor in initiating healing responses. These "healing responses" are again triggered, or set in motion when the healer replies by post. (All requests for Absent Healing will be personally answered by Mr.Osborne.)

Biographical Notes on the Healer.

Doug Osborne was born at noon on February 11th. 1945. At 14 years of age, a range of unusual happenings began to occur, which included some Psychic Phenomena, an instance of Spirit protection, and a visitation by a shining Spiritual Being. As his special powers became known, many people sought his help for healing with problems like asthma, arthritis, lung conditions,and many other disorders. He eventually specialised in Spinal disorders in his personal healing practise. He became widely known for his healing gift through working with the public at several full time Healing Centres in the Melbourne and Geelong areas in Victoria, Australia. He has worked full time now in this capacity for twenty years.
His personal collection of more than fifty psychic photographs,clearly showing the special energies associated with his work, are said to be among some of the best in the world, and several have been featured in books about psychic matters and associated subjects. Several of these have been featured in the British "Psychic News."
He has been priveliged to see "Healing Phenomena" occur spontaneously under his fingers. In some cases, patients have reported dramatic cases of Healing Phenomena taking place after visiting personally for Spiritual Healing, and also after after people have sought his help for "Absent Healing."
After moving through several areas in his working life, (which included working in the Navy Department, and also training as a male nurse) he was a member of a Pop Group whose hit record "Rockin' Robin" became a hit in Australia, reaching the top of the charts in 1965. He appeared with many of the popular artists of the time. He is the author of several books on psychic matters, including one titled "The Return Of Black Hawk" (co-written with the late British medium, Ursula Roberts.)
He has also been featured several times in the British "Psychic News."
After writing his book "Return Of The Rainbow Race" he was interviewed on "Tasmania Today." and was interviewed by Ric Patterson on ABC Radio 7ZR, as well as an interview on Brisbane T.V. during a successful Tour of that area.
His latest book (yet to be published) has a re-incarnation theme, and tells the story of a young Temple initiate in ancient Egypt, detailing his life in the Temple of Mysteries in Heliopolis, to become a Priest of Ra.

His prime focus at present is to establish a permanent Centre of Light for Healing and Teaching in Australia.
